NRF’s BIG Show 2015 Wrap-Up
Oracle Retail made a great showing – showcasing the enhanced suite of retail software. The conference also served as something of an industry coming-out party for Oracle’s acquisition of the MICROS Systems solutions for hospitality and retail. This acquisition extends Oracle’s expertise and has officially been rebranded as Oracle Hospitality.
Oracle’s latest release of Oracle Retail 14.1 helps address some of the emerging trends highlighted at the NRF show, in particular “omnichannel” commerce, by which retailers seek to provide customers with a seamless shopping experience across various technologies, platforms, and environments, including mobile, online, and in the store.
Key take aways – INNOVATION is key in today’s omnichannel world! Most importantly – focus on the customer & the overall experience rather than individual channels. We noted the heaviest traffic around:
